Can you include the cost figures as you go along? Also, I take it these parts in the build are for the Tacoma, correct?

Thanks

2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road 6th gen build by MJMotorsports808 🤩

Mods / specs so far:
  • Rays TE37SB SL Pressed Graphite 18x8.5 +22 Offset Wheels
  • Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 295/70/18 (35s / 35" Tires)
  • Ready Lift 1.5 Front Leveling
  • Minor trimming required
  • Air dam removed
Kings Suspension and Seibon Hood to be installed next they say.
Seems you've kept the stock tire as a spare? That's gonna feel pretty odd on the freeway should you have a flat, no? Does the MT wheel fit underneath?

Also, seems the King's won't be fitting the 25....
No 35" spare tire won't fit underneath the 2025 4Runner. There's a width issue - front to rear, but also an issue of the spare tire hanging too low.

Good to know. Thanks for letting us know. Great pics.

But do wonder, if you ever do have to change out your wheel - is it even possible to drive that a smaller wheel on and 3 much larger ones? I've never tried so I'm curious. Maybe it'll be like a donut tire - e.g. don't drive above 55mpg?

So the 35" spare tire will need to be stored inside the truck?

I see. However, I saw that the total payload of the hybrid 4Runner is only 895 lbs. With all those heavy bumpers (easily 200-300 lbs each + tire) and racks and tools, not much will be left for passengers...

I was skeptical when I saw "35s on a 4runner" but that actually looks like they fit really well on the Everest pictures. 33's seem more appropriate for a midsize SUV, but if those 35's work with zero rubbing, nice job Toyota.

Here's a video / pic look which shows how much tires poke out. Also shows unedited / unprocessed look at Everest color.

The 295/70 R18's (34.5" D x 11.7" W) look and fit so much better IMO than the 35x12.5 R17's! They will be easier on the transmission too. Great choice!

Fantastic build so far!! Rays TE37's have a soft spot in my heart. And now Everest color does too wow. Wish it was offered on the TRD Pro.

Nice job MJMotorsports808 👏
Wow those Volk Racing wheels are awesome. And at just over 17 lb weight they are super light!
