Bolt Pattern:
6-139.7 (same as 5th gen)

Lug Nut Size:
14x1.5 (different than 5th gen's 12x1.5)

Hub Bore / Center Bore:
95.1 (different than 5th gen's 106.1)

These figures are from the 2024 Tacoma. I posted it for reference in case anyone searches up this info for aftermarket wheels, lugs studs, etc. (or for fitting 5th gen 4Runner wheels).

Since the 2024 Tacoma 4th gen and 2025 4Runner 6th gen are essentially identically mechanically. We should expect that their wheels related specs will be the same.

Looks like 5th gen 4Runner factory OEM wheels won't be a swap option for the 6th gen then.

I wonder if this will hold true for the Tacoma? However, the previous generation Taco is a lot closer to the new than the previous 4Runner is to the new generation. The new 4Runner is essentially a Tacoma with a different body, reverting back in this regard to when the 4Runner was just hatched.

Not a perfect fit but I just checked my OEM 5th gen 4Runner 17" wheels in the garage and a 14mm stud will fit no problem. You can use rings to fill the gap on the hub (assuming that they are hub centric), lots of aftermarket wheels require them, but some guys don't like them.

is this the same specs as the 3rd gen tundra?

i have a full 23 tundra set in grey that i want to use to replace the platinum gloss black wheels with.

also the new 25 4R has a 8 JJ width compared to the old 8.5/9.0 JJ spec i think

Method sent me the wrong lug nuts and the wrong center bore hub rings. They are sending me another set of lugs but they seem to think the rings wont be an issue since they are "lug centric" wheels.

What came of this? Been looking at method wheels but they're hub bores of 106.25 not the right size for our 4runners 95.1

The Method experience unfortunately was pretty bad. The lugs were finally replaced and when I told them the Hub bores were the wrong size they said it didn't matter and never sent the replacements . I purchased my own. When the shop went to install them they found one of the wheels was missing the center cap. Called Method and they sent the wrong size replacement. Took two weeks to get the proper size center cap. The wheel cleaner we ordered leaked in the box and they had to send another.
On top of all their mistakes we had issues getting the wheels balanced.
I wont be using Method in the future.

that sucks all around. I've been a Black Rhino guy for years, Thought about changing it up for the 4runner but it seems to not be the way to go. thanks for the reply

Whats the correct torque for the lug nuts by chance? Taking notes before mine arrives. Thanks for all the great info

i am going to go out on a limb, but looking at the specs for 25 tundra, sequoia and tacoma, they all use the same wheel specs so i am guessing the 4runner will use the same specs including wheel torque of 131 nm

the left block is the 25 sequoia, the middle is the 25 tacaom, and right side is the 25 tundra

2025 Toyota 4runner Bolt Pattern, Lug Nut Size, Hub Bore / Center Bore (6th Gen 4Runner 2025+) torque specs
