Just put a deposit down on Friday and looking to see what kind of discounts you guys are getting? The way my dealer works you need to get everything 95% finalized before claiming an incoming unit and then putting a deposit down. I'm currently at -$2030 discount and wondering how much I should push for more. This is a TRD Hybrid so not sure if that makes a difference to a non-Hybrid, thanks for info!

I paid MSRP. The dealer deducted the DOC fees to nothing, so a little discount. A $2,000 discount seems very good to me. Almost hard to believe.

I would say any discount would be market and model specific and would be useless as a data point, unless you are shopping in the same market.

Anecdotally, I would say a 2k discount on a hybrid is pretty good. What model?

Less than 1mpg loss based on testing by others. With it on, you don't have much clearance to park close to a curb, so it'll probably get ripped off at the mall or on a rock...

TRD Hybrid, I agree with market note but in the Denver area we seem to always be in the most expensive price range for 4X4's like this.

Here's the current deal but it sounded like I might be able to get more off my salesman/Mgr just needed to wait until it's delivered and we're finalizing. Side note I've been working with this salesman for 8 years and have sent him over 10 referrals including a '25 Tundra 4 weeks ago.

MSRP means Toyota website numbers, so unless $53639 corresponds exactly to what Toyota website says final MSRP is, I don't put much stock in what dealerships say as they tend to just invent whatever numbers they want as "MSRP".

Those fees down below are included in Toyota.ca's MSRP price breakdown here in Canada. Not sure what a Summit package is.

My MSRP is actually $49 less than Toyota website as the only option I have is all weather mats and they're $248 on Toyota and $199 on mine. So it's $53639 vs. current on Toyota site $53688. Summit package is clear bra on hood, front of fenders, door cups, & door edges and Window tint on front windows. I don't have to take it but he always adds it.

I had the same discount on my 2025 TRD Sport a day before the Tarif wars! However, I insisted on removing any dealer added accessories. Also, I recommended not trading in your vehicle as this will cloud the issue and they will make up the discount in the trade value. Lastly, after negotiating the out the door price, start negotiating the financing - interest or money factor. Toyota allows dealers to mark up interest rates/ money factors. in short anything that is taxable is negotiable!

I agree zero add-ons if you can get away with that! As for trading I always get my lowest price I can then add my trade, I know what the market value is as well as current auction pricing so trading is the only way to go since we get Tax help for the value of the trade. In my case I will be getting an additional $4200 in tax savings over trade/auction value totaling $71k which is $1k less than I paid new so it's a no brainer. I'm not financing paying cash but yes you need to go in knowing current rates for sure!

Looking for my first Toyota 4Runner
I purchased my TRD ORP a few weeks ago and TSRP after all the PIO was about $58.7k. I was able to get it down to $55.9k so about a $2.8k discount. It put me at $500 below base MSRP+Destination fee.

This is all before taxes+fees.

Meanwhile, I've got a Centennial Toyota in Vegas trying to charge $5000 more because it's a 'specialty' vehicle. I told him there's no way I'd pay that much more especially since Toyota already has price increases built in for the Trailhunter vs a lower badge level.

Dealers in Vegas are shady as f***.

They all are I've just dealt with mine for a LONG time and he knows to just price as low as he can and don't F around, yes I have him trained. BUT the other dealers around here are just as bad, especially the Ford dealers, my Bronco purchase was a complete shit show.

This is the minimum my local dealership is willing to charge, they said they require Toyoguard, door paint protection, all weather floor mats, and phone cables in all new vehicles due to being with SouthEast Toyota.

Wow that's ridiculous, I's be shopping out of state or at a different dealer for sure. The only thing my Dealer requires is $119 wheel locks witch I'd buy anyway; they're reasoning is wheels get stolen on the lot.
