Hello All! Has anyone locked in a hybrid unit with an actual sales order? The dealers local to me in eastern PA claim they can't link units to consumers yet as they don't know what will be available. They are guessing allocations will become visible in March. I've had a deposit in for at least 1.5 years.

He's right, no dealers have received hybrid allocations yet because hybrid models don't start production until next month.

1st on the list with this dealership with a $500 deposit last month, in San Diego, CA. Coming from a 2020 Subaru Ascent, will be a first time Toyota owner.

As a possible reference point -- the new Tacoma also began with gas models production first, followed by the hybrid models a couple months later.

The first gas Tacoma deliveries started end of Jan 2024 and the first TRD Pro Tracoma delivery started almost 6 months later in mid-June 2024.

If the 4Runner follows that timing then we may see the first 2025 4Runner TRD Pro deliveries early summer (Q2).

I received a call yesterday from a local dealer stating they received an allocation for a black trd pro. This was not my preferred color so they are attempting a dealer trade.

They did not say when the vehicle is going into production, just that the next round if allocations are being assigned.

YESSSS! This is the first Hybrid or TRD Pro allocation I've heard about and even earlier than I expected. Thank you for sharing this!

dont get too excited about filling an allocation request. production confirmation and actual build date can be months apart.

my 23 tundra was confirmed in august but the actual build date ended up in dec

Was this a model that you were told was being sent to your dealership and you had the dealer reserve it for you? As far as I know it's not possible to put a actual order in for one, the dealers are sent whatever Toyota wants to send them.

Thanks! Had everything I wanted except the digital rear view mirror which I can live without. Only added options were rear cargo lighting and all weather mats which will both come in handy.

There is a 25 4runner TRD PRO available with no reservation at the Tony Divino Toyota in Riverdale, UT but they are asking $3K over MSRP for it which is ridiculous.
