Based on where it exits the body, you're talking major work or panel replacement. I'm just not interested in fussing with all that.

you could but, then you have to figure out how to plug the hole in the fender and find a new way to get air into the air box in the engine bay

Haha, too true. Ugh!

That said, interior is probably easier to change/cover than the snorkel.

I'm still slightly leaning towards the Pro despite its many interior flaws.

My wife likes the styling of the LC, but… not for me!

My hesitation here is being required to invest more $$ in the vehicle should I want to actually hit some medium-level trails. Why not just get it all out of the gate if it'll perform comparably on street?

I think you're underestimating how good the Limited full time 4WD system is. Even in fully stock form it's very capable off road if it needs to be.

Watch me go in with a fabric dye in a syringe in each hole in the seat to hide the camo. Thats honestly how bad I’ll want it gone.

well if you do that then you kill the seat cooling also.

thats the only downside of a seat cover, the cooling feature.

otherwise the seat heaters still work with seat covers.
