Just saw these posted at Tacoma4g. First look at the TuxMat floor mats covers. Same interior as 2025 4Runner so this is what we should expect to see from TuxMat for our 4Runners. They look great.

I prefer the tried and true and looks much better rubber floor mat. If it works for you.

Many people mistake these for fabric. They are not. They are very much all-weather waterproof floor mats and from my experience they are the best out there. They don't stain. They are easy to clean, and their coverage is positively unmatched. I can understand if you don't like the look, but functionally they simply cannot be beat.

Agreed. Got them for my Bronco and after seeing them my dad ditched his WeatherTechs for TuxMat

Huh, learn something new every day I suppose. I've been using my OEM rubber mats on my Subie since 2016, no issues. Snow, mud, gardening.
Love em so much, that I'm definitely getting rubber weather mats in the 4R. Didn't know there was such a range of products!

I've got a Forester wilderness that came with the OEM all-weather floormats. They are fine, but we got the Tuxmats for my wife's Ascent. There is no comparison. I didn't buy them for the Forester since it came with the OEM ones, but I've still considered it.

Love Tuxmat. After using in my Grand Cherokee, they'll be my go to when the 4Runner arrives. I hope they make a cargo mat at some point.

Not bad. Never seen these before. They cost a little less than the Husky X-Act Contour's that I've had for almost 10 years now. I'd be curious as to how well these hold up.

Have TuxMat in the back row of my 5th gen Limited 7 seater. It was the only company who made a suitable quality product.
Has worked well but not sure what I will choose for 6th gen limited. Will see how OEM all weathers fare first I guess

Any word on when these will be available for the 2025 4Runner?
It looks like it took Tuxmat about 6 months to have a prototype out from when the 2024 Tacoma was released. Hopefully they'll be able to have this out sooner. My 4Runner didn't come with floor mats and I'd like get tuxmats, but I'm not sure how long I want to wait..

Edit:
I talked to their support and they said they'd be out late summertime this year.

Damn! I need those Tux Mats now! They are so much better looking than the other all weather brand of mats.

Very disappointing news I received from TuxMat yesterday, folks. See the representative's reply as follows:

Thank you for your interest in TuxMat. Mats for the 2025 Toyota 4Runner will be made and development will start when this vehicle's interior is scanned at our warehouse. We're still on the lookout for a Toronto-area vehicle to scan, so if you know anyone in our area with this vehicle, please send them our way.

For a company that makes such a nice looking, well developed product I would've expected them to be aware of a brand new generation of 4Runner & proactive about finding ways to develop their product for it. Apparently they didn't think to attend the Toyota events when manufacturer's could scan & gonna over the vehicle to get the information needed to develop products for it.

I really want a full set of these TuxMats. I might have to waste money now on a different set of rubbery looking all weather mats that I'm not really proud of.

would love to help ya - if i had my 6th gen would drive down there to have it scanned.....

Start a new thread: ask for a Toronto-area new 6th gen owner to see if they can stop by the Tuxmat location in Scarborough. There have only been a handful of TRD Sports delivered in southern Ontario, but someone has got to be on here.

I would assume that the all the interior dimensions are the same for the Gasoline models regardless of trim packages. The only difference might be the 5 passenger versus the 7 passenger configurations which shouldn't be too difficult to figure out even if a 7 passenger 4Runner is scanned.
I would also assume the the Hybrid models may have nominally different interior dimensions due to the battery placement.

You have a good suggestion & I'll have to start a new thread for help with this. Hopefully some kind soul in the Toronto area will be willing to take one for the 4Runner6G team & let TuxMat scan their vehicle so they can get started with development & production.
