I’ve secured first allocation rights for a TRD Pro in Mudbath. Wanted to make sure the vehicle fits in my garage. Toyota specs are listed as follows:

Length = 194.9 inches
Width (“no mirrors”) = 79.9 inches
Height = 74 inches

Width is my main concern. I’m not exactly sure if “no mirrors” means the mirrors folded in or the mirrors completely off the body.

Does anyone have real world measurements for the TRD Pro? I do realize they aren’t available yet, but thought maybe someone had measurements from recent media drives.

I wouldn’t worry too much. My 4th gen Tacoma fits. Your 4Runner should be no problem.

Thanks! We have a two- car garage with a center pillar divider. So two separate garage doors, one on each side of the center pillar. The rough width measurement at the opening of each side of the garage is 90 inches. Toyota’s “no mirrors” width measurement from the spec sheet (80 inches) would give me about 5 inches of clearance on each side, assuming their listed “no mirrors” width measurement includes the folded mirror.

no mirrors i think references wheel well outside to outside for federal rules. since if you go over that, federal rules requires you to add marker lights like the raptor full size truck require (federal rule states that vehicles 80 in + require the marker lights)

the only concern i have is the width increased a lot (2-3 in), the length isnt a big issue since i think its only 2-3 in longer that a 5th gen and i have a small garage to where i cant fit a tundra in it.

standard garage door width is very close to the 4R width now compared to before. i didnt have to consciously think about the mirror on my 14 4R going into my garage now, but the new 4R i will have to be gingerly entering being 2-3 in wider

Agreed. Going to be very tight, especially on the pro/trailhunter. Two inches could easily be the difference of fitting vs not. Hopefully, Toyota considered standard garage door width when designing since this falls into the midsize SUV category.

My concern was the Height of the TRD Pro. We have a standard 7 foot tall garage door in our 2 car garage, but I imagine if my 5th generation 4runner fits, the 6th gen should also.

6th gen 4Runner TRD Pro is 74.0" tall (not including roof rails) vs. 72" tall height on the 5th gen TRD Pro.

I did a little more digging on the "no mirrors" measurement and believe that you are correct. The measurement appears to be taken from the widest part of the body. Likely outside of one front fender to outside of the other front fender. Good point!

Sadly, that measurement doesn't do much to determine real-world width for parking purposes, so I did even more digging.

I found a thread from someone with a 2023 Tundra 1974 who took a real-world width measurement recently. The "no mirrors" measurement on that specific Tundra is 80.2 inches compared to the 79.9 inches of the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro. So body width is nearly identical.

The Tundra owner folded in both mirrors and was able to get a measurement through the truck with the windows down. His width came out to 86 inches from the outer edge of one folded mirror to the outer edge of the other folded mirror.

Assuming the mirrors on the 4Runner TRD Pro aren't wider than the 23 Tundra when folded, I'd anticipate a very similar real world parking width clearance - 86 inches.

That said, if you have a two-car garage with a center pillar like me, you'll likely need a minimum entrance width over 86 inches for the vehicle to actually fit. In my scenario, I have about 93 inches of entrance width once you account for garage door trim and weather stripping.

It will be very tight, but I should have about 3.5 inches of clearance on each side with the mirrors folded in.

Hope this helps anyone else that may have similar concerns about parking a 2025 4Runner TRD Pro in the garage!

If I had a two-car garage with a center pillar, I'd buy a TRD OR instead of a Pro, and use the leftover money to convert my two garage doors into one. :D

Ha! I hear that. Sadly, it's city ordinance around these parts. And, of course, the HOA won't allow it.

Oh for sure. HOAs are the debbil.

And I'm talking mad smack for a guy that will also have to pull through a single bay door. It's the third of a three-car, but it's still that tiny door. I don't bother currently because I'd have to do a three point turn just to get lined up with the door in my Tundra. And it's a pretty tight squeeze after that. Just not worth my time on the daily. I only pull it in there when there's hail coming :D

I’ve always assumed garages with the center pillar & 2 single doors were wider/larger & wished mine was, even if it’s a good size, at least for the city, at 24x24 or so. Thanks for reminding me why I should be happy for having all the space of one double door.
