That's partially due to the 8 speed transmission compared to the sluggish previous generation. I wish they went with the 10 speed as it would be even better.
Those seats and material look as consistently bad as all past Toyota's have. I was hoping for something better. That's unfortunate, but predictable coming from Toyota.

I never accept so called "mandatory" add-ons. You don't need to either. The cost to a dealer is negligible, but they charge an outrageous amount to pad their profits. Yet another scam by dealers that has been ongoing for years.
