500ish mile update:
The only design flaws I've found so far are:
1. The doors drip water into the vehicle when parked on a slight slope when they're wet. The top of the door is completely flat, so on a slight camber (such as when parked in the street) water drips off the inside corner of the rear doors into the vehicle.
2. The rear wiper needs to go just a little further so I'm not looking through dirt/water when trying to use the rear view mirror through a dirty rear window.
3. The interior of the door handles, especially in the rear, are targets for mud coming off your tires.
All very minor, but there you go.
I'll add one other thing: if you end up driving, say, 100 mph, I hear it's still a super smooth ride. Allegedly.
The Gladiator's window sticker said it was limited to 97 mph. Someone would have to check that on the autobahn or something I guess, but I did hear it was an accurate window sticker even when going down a steep hill with a tail wind.
No such issues on the 4Runner sticker.
