This option was originally on my ORP I have reserved and as it moved through the port, it dropped off. I wanted those rims and the offset, so I'll go aftermarket. I dislike the standard ORP wheels.
That's interesting I'll have to pay attention to that as mine moves across the pond. I personally would not have added this upgrade so I could choose my own tires and wheels but if these look OK then I might leave them on for a while. I also am not a fan of the stock wheels on the ORPs.

They told me today that if any PIO is not available when the vehicle gets there they take it off the list and send as is to avoid delays waiting for some upgrade to be in stock. Which I am totally fine with.

I'm in the PNW, Platinum on order. 4-6 months of rain. A little shush a couple months of the year, got a good suggestion to replace the Dunlop?
Michelin Defender gets rave reviews. Lasts a long time, top rated in dry and wet handling but still strong in snow and decent off road.

AT tires look like they would be good in snow cause they’re knobby, but that’s not what counts. It’s the sipes that make the difference in snow, along with the tread compound. Also, AT tires are often poor in the rain. They’re usually just off road tires that are tamed down enough to be tolerable on the road, not super loud and squirmy.

Agreed. My 5th Gen came with the Dunlops and they were fantastic tires all the way out to 60K before replacement, but I am in Texas so I don’t know how they’d perform in the Northern States in the winter.
well i usually go with duratracs, defender ltx p-rated versions since i rarely go off roading.

cross climates are a good new option from what i have read. really any decently reviewed all season snowflake tire is better than the grandtreks a20's

at least for ND winters

This is what I'm confused about. When I look at the list of package upgrades my ORP comes with, I see a wheel upgrade for $1325. When you go to the Toyota website and build a 4R this is an add on you can get and it shows a picture of all black wheel. So I'm assuming it's an upgrade to the TRD Pro wheels but there's no specifications of the tire difference.

I've seen the window sticker of some owners that have received their ORP that doesn't list this add on and they have the wheels with the machined aluminum outside ring on them. It's not the same as the photo shown of the upgrade on Toyotas website.

I'm pretty sure the upgrade will be the ALL BLACK wheels, but even the dealership has not been able to give me a definitive answer of the tires that will be on them. 🤔

I've attached my list of add ons, and a screen shot of the upgraded wheels off of Toyotas build site.

Here's how your upgraded TRD 18" wheels will look @Cityzen10!

I posted it up in another thread: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/thr...-wildpeak-a-t3w-tires-first-look-photos.2401/

But here's some photos and they look awesome in my opinion. Keep them in your ORP build!

those only look slightly different than the gloss black platinum wheels.
