Is there any info on what the offset is?
I found this on a 24' Taco forum:
" The consensus seems to be that stock TRD Offroad wheels are 7.5" wide with a +55 Offset. "
So, not sure how accurate that is but I know that the TRD PRO and Trailhunter reach the extra overall width from the wheels themselves, meaning that they have a different offset than regular TRD

Pro and Trailhunter have 20mm offset wheels.

Is there any available information on how wide the actual Factory Wheels are?

I currently have a 2015 TRD Pro and upsized the tires to 285/70/17. The factory wheel is only 7" wide making the tires very tight at the bead. Consequently none of the standard tire shops around me can put their alignment equipment on the wheel for wheel alignments.

2025 4Runners come with some variant of 265/70/18 which (according to wheel specs on Nitto Tire) fits on a 7" wide wheel. I would be looking at the same issue if putting 285/70/18 on the 2025 18" Toyota Wheels if they turn out to only be 7" wide.

The Toyota data sheets are notoriously buggy.
The bigger SR5 wheels go along with the bigger brakes on the 4Runner. All 4Rs get the 13.2/13.4 rotors, while Sr/SR5 Tacomas get smaller front brakes, and only Hybrid Tacos get the bigger rear brakes.

These 2025 4Runner trim’s factory wheels are shared with the 2024 Tacoma so we know their widths, sizes, offset:

TRD Off-Road wheels width: 7.5” (18x7.5 +55mm offset)
TRD Trailhunter wheels width: 8.5” (18x8.5 +20mm offset)
TRD Pro wheels width: 8.5” (18x8.5 +20mm offset)

Thank you @JenningsESQ
I should have thought to search first.
I appreciate the linked information.
looks like 285’s should not be a problem then with 18” by 8.5” width wheels.

Happy to help! You planning to fit 285's on the 2025 4Runner TRD Pro or the Trailhunter?

Well It depends lol.
I won't be in the market until the 2026 year. For the "wheelin" that I do the Trailhunter would be perfect. I do miss having a moon-roof though like I had on my 2004 4Runner (2015 TRD Pro moon-roof was not an option back then). If they put the moon-roof as an option on the TrailHunter by 2026 then that would be perfect. If not then the TRD-Pro it is since they are both priced the same currently.
Welp, presuming I have the money for those options too :)
