Seats removed (3rd row also) from 2025 4runner 6th gen - photos

I am currently working on a project and had to take all of my seats out of my car. Sharing some pics of what the interior looks like with no seats as well as some goodies I found.

My car will be disassembled like this for the next 10 or so days so suggest mods or things I should check out inside!

Seat removal took about an hour to get everything out including the third row. Can’t claim that I did the work though since an expert did it. Will share more details on this when I’m able to!

I'm probably going to keep the third row in. I have a deposit on the SR5 in underground grey.

I've never had a true 4X4 before, so my next battle is figuring out if I'm going to be satisfied with using part time 4X4 on our snowy/ice roads here in Montreal. I wonder if 4HI drives just as as well on packed snow roads as full time 4WD found on the limited and land cruiser. I'm coming from Subaru that does this very well.

Well to be honest with you, the 4Runner will have less icy/snowy road chops than anything with AWD or full time 4WD. When you engage 4HI or 4LO it does switch to 4x4 but there is no center differential in the car so it will bind if you make any sharp turns. It's recommended to switch in and out of 2HI and 4HI as needed when you're going around.

You happen have a scale to measure the seat weights BTW? Weight of the seats might be helpful (and hard to find) info for anyone who wants to lighten their 2025 4Runner 6th gen's weight as much as possible for whatever reason.

When I receive my seats back I’ll see if I can weigh them

The rearmost section has a flip up panel with storage underneath but no, the rest of the dip there holds the hardware for the third row seats
