Combined with 50% city and 50% highway I have about 20.7 mpg rn. I live in a pretty hilly area. Driven 350 miles on 87 octane

Right now I’m at 17.8, still in break in period, roughly ~400 miles with half of that being highway miles. Running on 87 octane.

About 50/50 but I've tried to vary speeds on the highway parts. I may have hit triple digits once. In kilometers

Not wanting to hijack this thread but am am so curious on the reasoning and results of using higher than 87 octane fuel. One factor for me in buying (awaiting delivery) the 4runner was it was designed to run on 87.

On the Fuelly app, it looks great but I need to read about the data privacy. Also, if it used cell data or does it run offline until you are on wifi?

i would say over long term and not pulling the battery, they will meet. but so far on our 23 tundra they were about .5 to 1 mpg off initially but after about 75 tanks, they are within .3 to .5
